Overview:

• Providing support to the Operations department, working closely supporting most aspects of various operational accounting/administrative tasks as needed.
• Identifying and preventing discrepancies and helping set up control systems when identified.

Duties:

• Performs daily/monthly payment request of state fees in Quick books
• Match and pay client/partner invoices through specified payment systems
• Apply payments for all client wire and check payments to invoices in appropriate systems
• Process credit card payments, finding appropriate codes and processing to appropriate invoices
• Work closely with the Operations to effectively identify and communicate areas of deficiency or errors
• Support aspects of operational accounting (billing, credit card matching, reporting, accounts receivables, payment research and spreadsheet data entries)
• Daily ACH/Wire/Check payment applications in appropriate systems
• Monitor and manage Accounting distribution mailbox and provide timely response actions internally and externally
• Assist Operations Manager with daily operational functions when needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High Diploma or higher, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Office support, Customer Service
• Data and Record Management

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

• General knowledge of basic accounting and operational principles
• Must be reliable and able to carry out tasks independently and collaboratively
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and take initiative
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Displays flexibility, sound business judgment, and discretion
• Consistently high attention to detail and rate of accuracy
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel, understanding and ability to enter, access and update data
• Utilize accounting systems to facilitate processes

Pay: $20 - $22/Hour
